5 Reasons To Register To Vote On Campus     Ready To Register To Vote In Florida?
  1.  You don't have to drive anywhere, you can just vote at the BankUnited Center.
  2. There's no need to deal with absentee ballots. Why complicate your life with more paperwork or mail?
  3. We (GOTV) take care of sending your registration form. You just have to take 1minute out of your life to fill it out.
  4. You get free giveaways if you register to vote on campus.
  5. It's your right! Let your voice be heard! Register and GET OUT THE VOTE!
  In order to register to vote in Florida, you must:
  1.  Be a citizen of the United States of America;
  2. Be a Florida resident (living at UM means you are a Florida resident);
  3. Be 18 years old (you may pre-register to vote if you are 17 years old or have received a valid Florida driver’s license, whichever occurs earlier);
  4. Not be adjudicated as mentally incapacitated with respect to voting in Florida or any other state;
  5. Not have been convicted of a felony without your civil rights having been restored; and
  6. Provide one of the following:
    • Current and valid Florida driver's license number…OR
    • Florida identification card number…OR
    • Provide the last four digits of your Social Security Number
