The College MENtality Mentoring Program was birthed out of the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA) to assist male students of color in their success and matriculation at the University of Miami. The program was designed to provide support and information on resources regarding academic success, leadership, social behavior, goal setting and career related planning. The program is composed of two parts: The College MENtality Mentoring Network and the College MENtality Series. Regardless of your ethnicity or race you are invited to participate in all programs and resources offered through the College MENtality Program.
College MENtality Mentoring Network
College MENtality Network is a mentoring program that pairs multicultural male students with male faculty and staff members. Mentors and mentees meet once a month and form a relationship geared toward the overall success of the mentee. To apply, please contact Jesse Ford at email@example.com.
College MENtality Series
The College MENtality Series seeks to motivate and empower minority males to assume roles of leadership and expose participant’s professional and personal success by promoting academic excellence through workshops, seminars and focus groups. Students do not have to be involved in the mentoring program to get involved with the series.
