Senior Mwambo Ceremony
The Senior Mwambo is an African rite of passage ceremony that marks the transition of black graduates from their lives at the University of Miami to advanced education and professional careers. The term "Mwambo" literally means ceremonial rite of passage. The Senior Mwambo is an African rite of passage ceremony designed to recognize the accomplishments of our black graduates and their families. It is a celebration of the transition from one stage of life to the next. Undergraduate and graduate students who have applied for graduation are encouraged to participate. To RSVP, click here.
